The Garden is currently working through a study titled "A Walk Across the Room." It is a dvd/workbook study from Willow Creek Ministries. The Garden meets on Wednesday nights @ 7pm.
Bake Off / Cook Off
Are you a good cook or baker? Come join us and participate in our 1st annual cook off / bake off on April 24th. Participants will bring a favorite dish while attendees will sample and vote. The cost is $3.00 for attendees. Prizes will be awarded for participants. We hope you can join us for some great food and good fellowship!
Bakery Bingo
BAKERY BINGO
Join the Garden on January 30 @ 6:30pm as we host Bakery Bingo! For every 3 non-perishable food items that you bring to donate, you will receive one bingo card. Prizes awarded for Bingo games will be cakes, pies, cookies and more! Donate to a great cause and get a sweet treat!
Donations will be divided among the Food Bank of Hampton Roads and the AUMC Food Pantry. This event will be held in the AUMC Social Hall.
Winter Coat Drive
WINTER COAT DRIVE
Please donate a gently used coat to our donation box in the social hall. Donations distributed by Friends of Hampton Roads and the Union Mission to locals in need. Thank you for helping to keep our community warm this winter!
Chili & Corn Bread Dinner to benefit Global Orphan Relief in Zambia, Africa
The chili and cornbread dinner was a success! We raised over $400.00 for the Joanne Byrum ministry partnering with Global Orphan Relief. Thank you to all for your donations and support!
